On Thursday February 18th 2021 at 5pm, we are organizing a screening of George Csicsery’s documentary film “Julia Robinson And Hilbert’s Tenth Problem”, which tells the story of an important American mathematician against a background of mathematical ideas.
On Friday February 19th 2021 at 3pm, there will be a Public Lecture by Carol Wood, the Edward Burr Van Vleck Professor of Mathematics, Emerita, at Wesleyan University. This is jointly organized with the UConn Logic Group.
